2010 Eagle Cap 850

Storage for lightweight bulky items is a problem in our Eagle Cap 850.  I wanted to utilize the under-the-cabover step-up area without interfering with the electrical, heater vent and solar system items found there.

Easy Step To Cabover Basket Storage

For this mod, I purchased a $1 metal utility basket at a thrift store (the same baskets are available new at hardware stores).  The metal utility basket fits the space available under the cabover step.  I used small plastic clamps and simple hand tools to attach the utility basket.

Easy Step Cabover Storage Connectors

The utility basket mod works great for storing those lightweight bulky items!  This modification took me half an hour to complete and cost me $1 (at the thrift store).  In my opinion, the skill level of this modification is easy.
