Supertramp Announces 2025 Flagship Updates

Supertramp announces seventeen new Flagship LT and HT options including custom in-house paint match, an 800Ah Victron lithium system, diesel Truma Combi D, and more. Supertramp’s Flagships are on the rise!

2025 Supertramp Updates

Fresh off the launch of their Flagship HT hard-side model, Supertramp is rolling out a deep lineup of new options for 2025. From a high-capacity 800Ah lithium battery system to a custom in-house paint match, these upgrades are designed to enhance both the form and function of the Flagship experience.

Most of what they’re announcing has been directly inspired by customer feedback. This is a huge advantage enjoyed by direct manufacturers who interact with their customers on a daily basis. If they get enough requests for a particular feature, they have the ability to quickly evaluate and implement that feature. And as a relatively small company, Supertramp doesn’t have to run these changes past a parent company or a board of directors. Once their internal due diligence has been completed, they can make decisions fast.

All of this adds up to a company that’s listening intently its customer base and making careful but rapid improvements to its product line. Perhaps the most exciting part of this reality is that you can become a part of it. By interacting with Supertramp and telling them what you want in a Flagship model, you are directly influencing what the company will consider next. Of course, asking for an all carbon fiber shell or helium-infused fiberglass may not go far—but you never know with this innovative team. After all, looking at the 2025 options list proves that Supertramp is in the wish fulfillment industry. Every new option started as one.

To learn more about Supertramp’s 2025 Flagship updates, we talked to Kelsey Panich, Sales Manager of Supertramp Campers.

Supertramp Camper And Truck Paint Match

Reading your new option list, what stood out first was the $6,000 custom paint match option. Is the custom paint being done in-house?

We are really excited to offer this. Supertramp is a premium camper and we understand how form equals function. This option allows our customers to take it to the next level.

We do all of the painting in-house. With our standard paint colors, we do a single-stage automotive paint—color and protective clear coat combined. That’s already an awesome step for our customers. Desert pinstripes are a badge of honor for some customers, but others might want a refresh now and then. With all of our campers being painted, any auto body shop can touch up and remove earned pinstripes.

Taking it the next step up, the automotive custom paint match is a true triple-stage automotive paint with a clear, a base, and a metallic or the color. We have the ability to scan the customer’s truck. Customers typically mail in a gas cap and we scan that to match the color. We have a mixing bank on site.

Automotive paint is very expensive. The cost of our custom paint match option is correlated to that paint cost and the considerable time it takes to paint a camper. We continue to offer a 3M wrap to achieve different colors. If you want a pattern or color change, the 3M wrap is still a great option. But the custom paint match takes it to the next level and makes a complete color-matched adventure truck.

Can customers come back and get their paint touched up at Supertramp?

We really only do that for customers who have been in accidents. We had a customer drive into a parking garage and damage the roof. We were able to repair and repaint the roof and you would never know anything had ever happened. By investing in a composite fiberglass shell, you can make repairs and repaint.

Painting and even applying a 3M wrap is very labor-intensive after a camper is completed. For example, every exterior feature has to be removed or taped off. If you want to paint or wrap your camper, it’s really something you need to do upfront.

Your new 800Ah heated lithium battery option ($7,500) is a monster. What are your customers looking to do with that level of power?

We have a large portion of customers who work out of their campers and/or live full-time in their campers. They have more and more technology and want to stay in remote locations without concern for power. They also often have an air conditioner to cool down their work or living space. And they might have a microwave or an air fryer. They’re more living out of their camper than using it for a weekend adventure.

Victron 200Ah Lithium LifePO4 Battery

Above: The Victron 200Ah LiFePO4 battery used in the new 800Ah Supertramp option

800Ah of batteries must take up a lot of space. Where are they located?

We have been very happy with Battleborn batteries. We still partner with Battleborn for our 100Ah and 200Ah solutions. That said, Victron—our partner for the DC-to-DC and solar controller—introduced a 200Ah lithium battery that has the same footprint as the Battleborn 100Ah battery. That means where we could fit 400Ah, we can now fit 800Ah. Two 200Ah Victron batteries fit in the kitchenette and two fit in the driver’s side booth.

That’s incredible. Are the new Victron batteries heavier?

The Victron is 44.1 pounds and the Battleborn is 31 pounds. The total additional weight would be 52.4 pounds. That’s fantastic for doubling your Ah.

If a current customer with the 400Ah set-up wants an 800Ah set up, can they do it?

Yes, we can upgrade their battery system. One way Victron was able to miniaturize their batteries was by removing items that are built into the Battleborns. That means we have to change more than just the batteries. If a customer is interested in the upgrade, they can contact us. There will be a cost involved with the upgrade.

Supertramp Campers 2000 Watt Inverter And Guzzle

What brand is the new 2,000-watt AC inverter option?

We offer two inverters. Both are GoPower. That might seem odd given our preference for Victron, but the Victron inverters are physically too big for our campers. The GoPower units mount well and don’t impact storage capacity.

The GoPower inverters are mounted in the rear booth and power two 110-volt outlets, two USB outlets, and one USB-C outlet on the kitchen face. If you don’t get the inverter, you get the standard 12-volt USB and USB-C outlets.

Guzzle Supertramp 2025 1 Another interesting option is the Guzzle H2O Water Filtration. How is this system integrated into the Supertramp Flagship?

We install an inline solution that goes directly to the kitchen sink. There are two water spigots at the sink; filtered and unfiltered. The Guzzle system reduces water flow by 35 percent. By not installing the system on the entire fresh water system, we keep the shower at full water pressure.

Guzzle Faucet Supertramp 2025

The Guzzle H20 system is easily accessible to upgrade filters. It’s super easy. People get fresh water from all kinds of sources on the road; breweries, garden hoses, etc. With the Guzzle system, you don’t have to carry bottled water.

Trelino Supertramp 2025

That’s something we’d like to try on our own camper.  Supertramp Flagship campers come standard with a portable cassette toilet. As an option, you’re now offering the Wrappon toilet system. What are the advantages of this option?

People are very specific with their toilet system preferences. I explain that our standard cassette toilet system is the most economical, but it’s not the right solution for everyone.

The Wrappon toilet carries a premium price, but it offers limited interaction with waste. The Wrappon system uses a coagulant, wraps the waste, heat shrinks it shut, and drops it into a container for disposal. The wrapped waste is approved to throw away like diaper waste or bagged dog waste. We are using the Wrappon system in the Supertramp Megatron as well. It’s an excellent solution.

We have folks who ask for a cassette toilet system that pulls out the exterior wall. I tell them that the Wrappon is superior in experience. There’s no need to lug around a suitcase full of poop.

Another toilet-related option is the teak riser for the Trelino composting toilet.

When we launched, we tried to find a composting toilet that fit the space we had. At that time, the composting systems were huge and didn’t make sense. The Trelino composting toilet is compact and fits well into our campers with the teak riser we designed.

The compost toilet solution is for folks who have done their research and know that’s what they want. Compost toilets require no water to flush, are chemical-free, and have less impact on the environment. They also require more engagement by the end user with sawdust and anti-scent Poo-Pourri material.

We’re working with a small space in our campers. Our toilet solutions allow us to have a toilet and a shower inside our camper. That’s an important benefit that keeps our campers feeling spacious and airy.

Truma D Supertramp 2025

Supertramp Flagship campers come standard with the Truma Combi that operates on propane. For 2025, you’re now offering the Diesel Truma Combi Plus and Induction Cooktop ($3,500) as an alternative. Talk to us about this option and why customers might prefer it.

The van industry is anti-propane. Talking to some customers, they are puzzled as to why we’re still using propane. We believe using propane makes sense in a demountable truck camper, but we understand that some customers only want to manage one fuel source in their truck and camper.

For 2025, we’re offering the diesel Truma Combi D Comfort Plus. This will allow customers one less fuel to manage. We are happy with the performance of the propane-fueled Truma Combi Plus and the diesel-fueled Truma Combi D is also a stellar product.

If you opt for the Truma Combi D, we also install a built-in electric induction cooktop. This completely eliminates the need for propane in a Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up or HT hard side.

The truck camper industry in general is starting to move away from propane. Should someone who selects the Truma Combi D and induction option also get a larger battery bank?

We talk to our customers about the type of cooking they’re accustomed to. If they’re only cooking an egg and heating up some coffee, they might get away with 200Ah. If they want to do more than that, I steer them toward 400 or 800Ah.

Supertramp Flagship HT Exterior Bikes

The entry stair option is listed as traditional and RIGd. How do you advise customers about their entry step needs and these two options?

The RIGd system is a swing arm hitch mount. It can hold a spare tire, four bikes, a table, and more. For carrying additional gear, we recommend it. And it’s made in the USA.

Supertramp Camper Step

RIGd sells a single step with their solution, but it’s still a big step up into the camper. We designed a two-step with a vertical hard back—which is great for dogs, ski boots, and general confidence in the dark. You can use our two step with the RIGd swing arm. We also have a step that’s a stand-alone solution.

We use the step systems at Overland Expos and other events. They’re very comfortable to use and are more confidence-inspiring than a portable step that’s sitting on the ground and likely not level.

Supertramp Flat Window On Flagship LT

Another option you’re announcing is the Arctic Tern driver’s side window. Tell us about this option.

Arctic Tern has now released flat black tinted windows with a black shade. They’ve really elevated the style of their windows with this upgrade. The tint also offers more privacy and the black shade is more modern and attractive.

Supertramp Camper Ports

Ports from left to right: Truma Exhaust, Exterior Solar Array Input, External 110V Plug (Either Inverter Output or 110V Pass-Through Input), Truma Combi Plus NEMA Input, 110V Shore Power Input, Fresh Water Infill (Locking Infill Shown).

An option that stood out was the locking water fill. Was this something customers were asking for?

Yes. It can be an important feature for peace of mind. We have a wide diversity of customers in terms of where they store their campers and where they camp. With the lock, you don’t have to worry about someone running off with your water fill cap or accessing your fresh water supply.

Talk to us about the pass-through plug. What is this exactly?

The exterior pass-through plug connects to an extension cord and powers an outlet inside the camper. This doesn’t touch the camper’s power system at all. The interior pass-through outlet can then power a Buddy heater or another 110-volt appliance.

For customers in colder regions, the ability to power a Buddy heater when storing the camper can be important. We actually have customers that keep their other outdoor vehicle and toy batteries in their Supertramp campers using a Buddy heater.

Where is the pass-through plug in the inside?

It’s on the electrical panel in the kitchen area.

Supertramp Starlink Mount

Above: For 2025, Supertramp offers the Starlink Mini, and customers can bring them an existing dish or buy one from them.

Supertramp is also offering an exterior electrical plug. Is this a 110-volt outlet on the outside of the unit?

Yes. You need the inverter for that option. With the exterior electrical plug, you can power the induction cooktop, or a stereo, or charge eBikes outside. Some customers use it to power a Starlink system.

Supertramp Exterior Racks

Is the STC Rear or Side Ski Rack something that can literally be mounted to the rear or side?

Yes. You can mount it to the MOLLE panel, and move it. The MOLLE panel dimensions are slightly different on the side and rear. We made the STC Rear or Side Ski Rack so it perfectly mates with the MOLLE holes.

The rear MOLLE panel is standard and the side MOLLE panels are optional. Some customers prefer the sleek look without the MOLLE panels. Others like the mounted toys.

Supertramp Switches Black

The new dimmer switch option seems like a simple enough option. Does that dim the entire lighting system?

Yes, and it’s pretty slick. When you press and hold the button, the LED lights will flash. Every time they flash it sets a timer by one minute. That gives you enough time to get into bed before they fade off.

They don’t make these buttons in black, so we disassemble two buttons to create a black version. It’s time and cost-intensive, but we want our interiors to be uniform.

Supertramp Microwave Stand 3

Tell us about the new microwave stand option.

The microwave stand was inspired by a customer who made one for his LT. We heavily designed it from his solution. It works for a microwave, but it can also accommodate other appliances. It uses a hole and strap system for mounting. People live on the road in different styles. Some need a microwave. Others want to bring their coffee makers.

The microwave stand is only for the LT. It doesn’t work in the HT.

Are there any other new 2025 options that are LT pop-up or HT hard side specific?

That’s the only option that’s LT specific.

Supertramp MaxTrax

The last new option for 2025 is Maxtrax recovery boards.

Our MOLLE panel on the rear is designed to perfectly receive Maxtrax. We offer them so customers can pick up their campers and have everything they need to go out that weekend. We also offer customers complete ready-to-camp truck and camper rigs. You can literally fly in, pick up your truck and camper, and immediately go camping. Flying in with Maxtrax would be a pain. With this option, you don’t have to.

What new option are you most excited about?

I’m excited about the step solutions. They’re not just for Supertramp campers. Anyone who wants a more comfortable way to get into their camper, has dogs, or has a RIGd swing arm, our step systems work really well. They’re confidence-inspiring.

I’m also excited about the 800Ah of lithium. Customers who use an air conditioner or bring 110-volt appliances will benefit from this new option.
