Torklift International announces ApexAnchors for Chevy and GMC trucks and a Tailgate Adapter Bracket for their Stow N’ Go step system. Lock it down, and step it up!
Torklift International—a company known for its frame-mounted tie-downs, turnbuckles, suspension products, bumpers, towing systems, and step systems—has released two new products that address specific challenges in truck camper safety and usability.
First up, the Torklift International ApexAnchors Internal Payload Anchor system is now available for for 2015–2019 Chevrolet and GMC 2500/3500 trucks with 6.5-foot beds. Next the Torklift Tailgate Adapter Bracket has been developed for Torklift’s Stow N’ Go steps with an aim to make truck camping safer, more stable, and more convenient.
While each product serves a different purpose, both address issues that truck camper owners face—keeping a camper securely fastened during off-road travel, and finding a safe way to climb in and out of a camper when the truck’s tailgate is on.
At the heart of Torklift’s new ApexAnchors system is a rethinking of how camper tie-downs can be integrated into modern truck platforms.
Rather than attaching to external brackets, the ApexAnchors system uses concealed anchor points that retract flush with the bed when not in use. This design not only maintains the bed’s utility for cargo but also presents a clean, OEM-style appearance when the camper is removed.

Each ApexAnchor point is rated for 2,000 pounds, and the system is bolted directly to the truck frame. That strength matters when hauling a truck camper over long distances or on rough roads where dynamic forces can shift loads unexpectedly. The design is intended to give camper owners peace of mind, knowing their rig is anchored to the strongest possible structural point on their truck.
ApexAnchors are available for 2022-2024 Jeep Gladiators, 2005-2005 Toyota Tacomas, 2023-2025 Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks, and now the 2024-2025 Chevrolet/GCM 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks with 6.5-foot beds.
If you own a 2024 or 2025 truck, and are willing to let Torklift International borrow it for test fitting at their Sumner, Washington facility, you can receive a free set of Torklift ApexAnchors. Click here for information.

Torklift’s second product announcement targets another challenge that truck campers encounter if they leave their tailgate on: how to safely enter and exit the camper.
The new Tailgate Adapter Bracket solves this problem by allowing the Stow N’ Go step system to mount directly to the tailgate itself. This means truck owners can deploy their stairs from the tailgate instead of removing or working around it—something that can be especially tricky when parked on uneven ground or in bad weather.
The bracket provides a secure and stable mounting platform and is built with durability and weight-bearing strength in mind. And because it works in conjunction with the existing Stow N’ Go step design, users don’t need to invest in an entirely new step system—just the adapter bracket.

Installation is designed to be fast and straightforward. The bracket mounts directly to the tailgate, making it a viable option for truck camper owners who don’t want to drill into their camper body or bumper. This especially helpful for truck camper rigs that don’t have a rear bumper at all—a growing trend in lightweight and flatbed camper designs.
The Stow N’ Go Tailgate Adapter Bracket product also serves those who use their trucks for work and gear storage. Contractors, field researchers, and overland travelers often need to access their truck beds multiple times a day. With the Stow N’ Go and adapter combo, a step-up system is always ready when needed—and disappears when it’s not.

Together, these products reinforce a broader movement in the truck camper world: toward modularity, versatility, and user-focused design. Rather than forcing one-size-fits-all solutions, these additions let truck owners build out their rigs according to how they actually use them—whether that means week long hunting trips, daily job site visits, or full-time travel across the country.
If you’re a Chevy or GMC 2500/3500 owner, or someone already using Stow N’ Go steps, these new offerings are worth a closer look.
