Craziest Thing You’ve Seen On the Road

This week we shared our story about two of the craziest things we’ve ever found on the road; an alligator farm in south central Colorado (what?), and Bishop Castle, one of the most outrageous, and dangerous structures we’ve ever seen.

Holding Fluffy the alligator and walking on a see-through iron structure several stories above certain death were both moments we will clearly remember for a long time.  Evidently, small alligators and near death experiences will do that.

Since creating fun memories is a top priority at TCM HQ, we want to find more outrageous, over-the-top, and crazy places to visit.  We all know about Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park.  That’s certainly amazing, but we’re looking for the really off-beat, out-of-the-way stuff that most folks don’t know about.  And the crazier the better!

To be specific, we want to hear about the stuff you told your friends and family about, and they either didn’t believe it, or thought you were nuts to have been there.

This week’s Question of the Week is, “What are the craziest places you’ve ever been with your truck camper?”  Please include the name and location of the places so we can go, or talk about how nuts you were to visit these outrageous places.

Here are some of the craziest places fellow TCM readers have seen.
