Grab your hats, fire up your rigs, and circle the dates—because the 2025 Texas Truck Camper Rally is rolling into the Johnson Creek RV Resort in Ingram, Texas from May 8th to 11th, and you’re invited to one heck of a good time. Spots are still available!
Hosted by Princess Craft RV, the 13th annual Texas Truck Camper Rally is a celebration of all things truck camper. And whether you’re a seasoned road warrior or camper-curious newcomer, you won’t want to miss it.
Planned Events
This year’s rally promises all the fun, friends, and food you’ve come to expect—and then some. Each morning kicks off with laid-back coffee gatherings, perfect for chatting with fellow campers and swapping road stories.
Then come the Tech Talks, where Certified RV Technicians will dive into boondocking basics, lithium and solar upgrades, payload puzzles, and more. Don’t miss the Truck Camper Tours, a rolling showcase of pop-ups, hard-sides, triple-slides, and clever mods galore. Whether you’re there for inspiration or pure camper envy, it’s always a highlight.
And what would the Texas Truck Camper Rally be without its legendary Chili Cook-Off? Bring your best recipe and your appetite—there’s a coveted winning spoon on the line! There’s also a craft class, live music, dancing, and the famous pancake breakfast, with plenty of time for just relaxing riverside or making new friends. If the water’s up, bring a tube—river sittin’ and floating are very much on the table.
Best of all? All the activities, classes, and events are free—you just need to pay for your campsite.
How To Register
That brings us to how to join the fun: First, click here and fill out the registration form so the team knows you’re coming. Then, call Johnson Creek RV Resort at (830) 367-3300 to reserve your site. It’s a two-step process, but an easy one—and with over 40 campers already signed up, you’ll want to claim your spot soon.
What To Bring
To make the most of the rally, be sure to bring a potluck dish, a bottle of beer or wine for the tasting, and maybe your wallet—Princess Craft will have discounted parts and accessories available throughout the weekend. Don’t forget your favorite outside games (think horseshoes or cornhole), and if you’re feeling helpful, a griddle for the pancake breakfast would be much appreciated. Bringing your own reusable plate, cup, and silverware will help keep the waste down—thank you kindly!
